Hiring Sr.Accountant for leading Travel Company based out at South Delhi
As an accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Your work will contribute to the financial health and success of the organization.
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide timely and accurate financial information to management and stakeholders.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, monitoring changes in tax laws, and advising on tax strategies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts to guide financial decision-making and business planning.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost savings or revenue generation. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial documents and records are available and accurate for audit purposes.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, review and approve expenses, and recommend cost-saving measures where appropriate.
Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure the organization's financial activities comply with these standards.
Software and Technology: Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to streamline financial processes and enhance accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
