Hiring Import Documentation Specialist for leading international Trader based out at Kerala Ernakulum.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Preparation: Prepare and manage all necessary import documentation, including Bill of Lading, Letter of Credit, Certificate of Origin, and Commercial Invoices.
Customs Clearance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of customs documentation for clearance processes.
Compliance: Stay updated with international trade regulations and ensure all import activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import operations.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all import transactions and documentation.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to import documentation and customs clearance.

Communication: Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure clear and effective communication regarding import processes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in import documentation or international trade.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with trade management software.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
